You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use Diaspora Hub unless otherwise permitted by applicable law and with appropriate parental or guardian consent.

By using the Services, you represent that:

• you can form a legally binding agreement,
• the information you provide is accurate,
• and your use of the Services complies with applicable laws and these Terms.

Diaspora Hub is a platform designed to help people discover community, places, events, businesses, and connections relevant to their cultural and local communities.

Features may include:

• creating a user profile,
• browsing listings and community spaces,
• discovering local businesses and events,
• viewing location-relevant content,
• and interacting with community-based features.

We may add, remove, or modify features at any time.

To access certain features, you may need to create an account.

You agree to:

• provide accurate and current information,
• keep your login credentials secure,
• and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for other users or for Diaspora Hub.

You may be able to submit, upload, post, or share content through Diaspora Hub, including:

• profile information,
• photos,
• listing submissions,
• descriptions,
• reviews,
• comments,
• messages,
• event details,
• and other materials (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of your User Content. However, by submitting User Content, you grant Diaspora Hub a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, modify, display, distribute, and use that content as necessary to operate, improve, promote, and provide the Services.

You represent and warrant that:

• you own or have the necessary rights to the content you submit,
• your content does not violate any law or third-party rights,
• and your content is not misleading, fraudulent, abusive, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate.

Diaspora Hub is intended to be a respectful and community-centered platform.

You may not use the Services to:

• harass, threaten, or impersonate others,
• promote hate, violence, or discrimination,
• upload unlawful, infringing, or deceptive content,
• spam, scrape, or exploit the platform,
• attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data,
• or interfere with the safety or integrity of the Services.

We may remove content or restrict access at our discretion if we believe it violates these Terms or harms the platform or community.

Diaspora Hub may display listings, businesses, places, events, or community-related information. Some of this information may come from:

• user submissions,
• third-party data providers,
• public information,
• or internal curation.

We do not guarantee that all information on the platform is complete, current, accurate, available, or appropriate for your needs.

Any listing, business, event, place, or organization displayed on Diaspora Hub does not automatically mean Diaspora Hub endorses or verifies it.

Users are responsible for exercising their own judgment before visiting, contacting, purchasing from, attending, or relying on any listing or person featured through the Services.

Some features of Diaspora Hub may use approximate or device-based location information to help surface relevant local content, nearby places, or community-related experiences.

By using location-based features, you acknowledge that:

• location data may not always be precise,
• results may vary based on your device or settings,
• and Diaspora Hub is not responsible for decisions you make based on location-based content.

You can typically manage location permissions through your device settings.

Diaspora Hub is an online platform only. We are not responsible for the conduct, actions, products, services, or safety of any user, business, venue, organization, or third party you encounter through the Services.

If you choose to:

• visit a business,
• attend an event,
• meet another user,
• or engage in an offline interaction,

you do so at your own risk.

Always use caution and common sense.

The Services, including Diaspora Hub’s branding, design, software, content arrangement, visuals, logos, and original materials (excluding User Content), are owned by Diaspora Hub or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• copy,
• reverse engineer,
• distribute,
• modify,
• sell,
• or exploit any part of the Services except as permitted by law or with our written permission.

If you submit feedback, suggestions, ideas, or feature requests, you agree that we may use them without restriction or compensation to you.

Diaspora Hub may rely on or link to third-party services, including:

• authentication providers,
• analytics providers,
• mapping/location tools,
• hosting providers,
• and communication or infrastructure services.

We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms and policies.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to Diaspora Hub at any time, with or without notice, if:

• you violate these Terms,
• your use creates legal or operational risk,
• or we decide to discontinue some or all of the Services.

You may stop using Diaspora Hub at any time.

Diaspora Hub is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Diaspora Hub disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of:

• merchantability,
• fitness for a particular purpose,
• non-infringement,
• availability,
• accuracy,
• and reliability.

We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or always accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Diaspora Hub and its founders, operators, affiliates, employees, contractors, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, business, or opportunity arising out of or related to your use of the Services.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Services will not exceed the greater of:

• $100 USD, or
• the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Diaspora Hub and its affiliates, founders, operators, employees, and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to:

• your use of the Services,
• your User Content,
• your violation of these Terms,
• or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the app, website, or other reasonable means.

Your continued use of Diaspora Hub after updated Terms become effective means you accept them.

These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
